There're plenty of good advise in this piece; so, thank you so much, Raffael. I stumbled upon the same question when I was about to get an iPad last week. Obviously, I didn't buy it (as I am happy with my 5-yea-old semi-iPad and semi-Mac 'MacBook'). I also have a big screen iPhone so I couldn't find the right reason to get an iPad....Well, it's also really really expensive.
