Thanks for this post.

It's been too long for universities to treat education as if they are commodities. University presidents and admins receive exorbitant compensation for getting parents and oversea students to pay for school -- not for learning and building knowledge. This should come to an end. Education must refocus on its core value to contribute, and not vanity or building symbolic capital for a certain class of people who will use it to de-benefit the society at large.
