I really enjoyed reading this post. One thing for sure is that it made me think about my response to each of the stages described in each of the illustrations and descriptions accompanying them. Truly, there’re a lot in the past that we don’t value because what it is in the presence doesn’t make us happy. Blame that on the structure of our brains, if you will, that haven’t changed much so we don’t learn to appreciate the “actually-it’s-fine” and “actually it’s been better than what I thought I would like myself to be” reality of the presence.
