I like this post and agree with the most parts. I always hold on to my Apple stuff as long as I can without upgrading — thanks to Apple’s solidly built products which have, for 2 decades, help me to stay focused on just Apple products. They fail me from time to time but they also help me fix them as soon as I need them fixed. That said, I also see post-Jobs’ Apple’s moving into a somehow interesting terra nova, such as Airpods (which, by the way, are state of the true art form of audio equipment) and many other things that are in the pipelines. So, perhaps, unlike Jobs where the big picture is key, post-Jobs is learning to sneak into everyone’s lives by ways of everyday-life products that are useful.
