I like this post a lot — thank you.

If I may, I'd like to add the notion of "not being able to let go of the past regrets." It is true that "nothing is ever your fault" does play a huge role, but people who are deeply, and emotionally, get the present intertwined and entangled with the past can also find it hard to justify moving forward with the past regrets — a dangerous thinking.
