A very good post. I really like the part about the strategic escalation of the matters. I think we are all working with toxic colleagues one way or the other. My issue is that even if you’re not venting with a colleague (whom you yet to know whether he/she is toxic) they can use your silence against you anyway. This is something that another post on the psychology of “leave me alone please” is needed.
