A good read, thanks to the author. One thing I’d like to add though is that it is important to evaluate your “productivity” once in a while. There’s a disjunction that you brain has created for you when you do things that you “want to feel productive” and the actual productivity that it creates – or doesn’t. Sometimes, stillness is the key and not doing anything is the most productive thing to do. As an architect, I find myself in a situation like this quite a bit when I tell my clients that not building a thing on such a great piece of land is better than building anything there.
